But, if that's the Del Puerto Canyon I assume it is--I've heard of an exposure of the Lower Eocene Tesla Formation there that produces some interesting leaves. It's a site that originally was considered Late Cretaceous Moreno Formation (which has produced hadrosaur dinosaur material, fish remains, foraminifers, gastropods, pelecypods, and ammonites), but more recent investigations put the leaf-bearing section directly in the Tesla.
