Hmmmmm... I'm taking a second look now and I'm less convinced.  The cubonaviculars I see online have a clear double depression on the deeper articular surface but mine has a single deep crater.  Might it be a camel or horse? Or maybe a wrist bone rather than ankle?

There are some other bones I considered.  Post a still image or two here, Carl, and we'll get to the bottom of the mystery.

Good images, Carl!  The bone is a camelid navicular.  Sorry for the false start . . . I confess, I struggled with the original video.

I believe so,  Harry identified the same bone for me last June and I was also pleased that it was camel, even though small

Wow! Is that all there is to a camel fibula???

Same with giraffids, camelids, and bovids, I believe.  This is the distal remnant of a longer fibula with the "spike" being the last suggestion of a longer shaft.
