ghaffar
Hello Please identify these fossil photos. All the photos taken in one place near each other. Location: Hormozgan, South of Iran Thanks
Al Dente
I see vertebrae and ribs. Do you know the age of the rocks? That could narrow down the possibilities.

Unfortunately I don't know the age of the rocks. I can show the location of the fossils on google map if it helps. https://www.google.com/maps/@27.0022421,54.7135389,1199m/data=!3m1!1e3
jpc
The geological map of Iran shows all sorts of different age deposits in Hormozgan Province. Cretaceous to Miocene. If I get a chance I will look at your google map photo in more detail.
jpc
Now I am curious... what are those big black circles if you zoom out of the google map? Highway 67, west of your map, goes right through one of them. Intriguing.
ghaffar
They are Salt domes which you can find some of them around us on the map
Wrangellian
Interesting geology in that area, I see the salt domes. I wonder if the colors in the one to the NE of jpc's are anywhere near accurate..
ghaffar
According to this geological map the area is located in MO area which means Oligo-Miocene, including Oligocene red beds "Asmari" limestone of SW Iran.

You must go back there and see what else you find. Try and measure exactly where the place is on a map, take lots of photos of the area and good quality photos of what you find. EMP
This is actually a really neat find, as it appears to look like at least a partial skeleton of some animal. Can't tell which, but you can see ribs and vertebraes.
fifbrindacier
Nice finds and "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." Ludwigia
If I were you, I would report your find to a reliable local paleontologist if you don't have much experience in digging up vertebrates. 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance.
