What could this be?

If you have any clue what this could be, please let me know . Found in Michigan, in our creek buried in sand. I thought it was a bone. I see a hole, then something more inside the hole. I tried posting the best pictures. There is one picture that I got the rock wet. It also looks reddish? Thank you.

I agree - it's a cross section through a nautiloid, or goniatite.

Great find.  Thanks for posting it. :)

Looks like a Goniatite fragment. Likely Mississippian.

Thank you so much for all the information. I of course have more questions. This maybe confusing, . But in the first picture, I see what looks like little red lines ,And a little circle with red lines it looks kinda like a sun. (On the right) ,i know absolutely nothing about these. Does this mean there is more inside? .. thanks again

Maybe I'm wrong, but some parts could be embedded in the matrix. Try to compare it with Imitoceras rotatorium.

Yes - imagine a goniatite, as seen in the picture abyssunder posted, sliced right through the middle, into two identical halves. That's probably what you have.  It's possible that some of the chambers are filled with that smooth rock (perhaps calcite) and the rest are filled with the same coarse matrix which surrounds the fossil, which is why it's not as clear as it might be.
