FossilDudeCO
Hey gang, I picked up a box of material from an estate sale out here a couple of weeks ago and have been having a go at it. Finally got around to taking some pictures. This little trilobite has me confused. The tag reads: Ampynna bellatula Trilobite Ordovician Maquoketa Formation Southern MO The formation, age, and location are correct as far as I can tell, but the name isn't bringing anything back. Keep in mind ESTATE sale. Could have been collected DECADES ago. I know names change so that is my only thought. Thanks for any help!! If it will help I may be able to get off my lazy bum and take some pics under magnification. Just let me know!
