@joshuajbelanger package is sent and should be there thursday! I decided to soak the matrix in water today, to help break it down and clean it up a little. I put it in a five gallon bucket, let the water loosen up the chunks, and proceeded to break up the chunks with my hands. I managed to find a decent lemon shark along with some other tiny shark teeth. Also a couple pieces of bone, a couple shards of mammal tooth, And ray plates. I noticed that some of these fossils appear water worn and beat up. Is this what one would call reworked material?

Oh you've got a handful of teefies.  Don't forget to go over that micro matrix real intensely, I've found extremely tiny bones and teeth.  Also, I don't know about the reworked.  It's odd, because by the color of these teeth and fossils, it would appear that they have been encased in limestone for the entire fossilization process.  I'm really hoping to find a nice meg with that color.  That's my favorite thing about limestone fossils, and something most people overlook.  Try to convince people that these came from the peace river.

I have dug Peace River with my own two hands and can't believe it!

The colours in that limestone are FANTASTIC.

I may need to try my hand at this trade.

Just haven't had much to trade!

My digging season in Wyoming is just starting! Then it's about finding time to prep ;)

I'm thinking these pieces I got today will be a little better.  Definitely more small teeth.  We shall see!

Well, I don't ask for much, it's really up to the person what they feel like they can spare.  I think I have one more trip in me, and then I'll have to find another outcropping.  Luckily, I already know a place.  I love this forum because I've been able to expand my fossil collection from localities all over the world.  What's common and trifle for you, maybe something really interesting to me.

Alright, three more packages since yesterday.  You guys freaking rock man!  I love this forum.  @ynot, @MSirmon, and @Darktooth you guys are very generous!  Here are the pics!  The first 5 are from darktooth, some nice big ole trilo parts, and of course, my own lottery ticket!  This will be my first go at shale, and I'm super stoked.

Then the next four are from msirmon.  Some awesome Echinoidea, I love Echinoidea! A bag of crinoid!  And of course, some big ole chunks of my own fossiliferous lottery ticket!  Thanks Msirmon!

and then ynot!  Some very nice pieces, first, I'm a huge fane of two things: verts and things in matrix!  Now I have both, I absolutely love those verts man!  That itty trilobite is simply adorable!  That Echinoidea is killer!  And oddly enough, that's my first whale vert!  Strange for a florida hunter i know!  All and all, amazing score.

Thanks so so much guys, definitely have some nice pieces to my collection!

Hi @joshuajbelanger I am glad you recieved your package but I am disappointed that some goods appear damaged. The Greenops cephalon was the only one I have ever found with the genal spines intact. Looks like it broke right across one of them. Also one of the shale chunks is beat up a little. I can always send more if you want. Some one at the post office wasn't gentle.:(

Oh no!!!!  The box the trilobites were in was broken pretty bad, but it looked like they weren't too thrown around.  I imagine it's pretty hard for shale! It's really crumbly. I'll try and look at that greenops and see what I can do, but I'm not making any promises.  I'm still very pleased about what you sent, don't worry about sending more.  You should see some of the pics from a package I sent caldigger, apparently the cannonball broke loose and destroyed 90% of the pieces...

ill work on those spines and see if I can find anything in the shale, heck, it's meant to be broken anyway.  :D
