digit
That is SWEET! The good new is that you've checked that off your fossil list. The bad news is you've checked that off your fossil list. It's always nice to have some cool finds on your wish list to motivate you to get back into that murky water but it's also cool to realize some of those wishes. Cheers. -Ken

Peat Burns
Yes, but did Dan find anything? just kidding. Awesome finds. That sloth phalanx and core are definitely high bucket list items. Congrats
Search4
That pic of us in the deep spot is great. Really emphasizes the dangers we faced with active hernias and a giant gar fish slapping you in the back But we endured even though I was probing the bottom from the safety of my yak, we still managed to leave that hole devoid of fossils Congrats on the awesome articulated sloth claw Jeff. you called that! Glad Dan got his meg too finally!!. Hahaha nice going guys. My take wasn't too terrible. No megafuana but I found some nice bits including the little pecarry and a few nice sharks teeth. My fave was the tiny posterior. I have no idea how it stayed in the 1/2 screen but I'm glad it did

Obviously , there are many similarities between sloths. You might include Megalonyx Leptostomus as a possible candidate, especially if you start finding Blancan type fossils there. How does this compare with what you have found? Grimlock
Hello everyone, I guess its my turn to post my finds. First let me say, that it is always a blast hunting with Jeff and Chris. I must applaud Chris for going with his gut and putting us on an awesome spot. I will also attest to the fact that when we got there Jeff said he was going to find a sloth claw. Of course, we thought he was just talking smack, but it ended up being a prophetic statement. Absolutely incredible find!!! We jumped in and started finding stuff right off the bat. After the great early finds, we dug nearly every inch of the spot (which is why my muscles are wrecked today). At the time, though, we were on a definite fossil high and were feeling no pain. I can't imagine a better hunt. So, without further ado, here is my stuff Here is a pic of the whole of my finds for the day.
