Shellseeker
I was out Wednesday. Found some interesting fossils including one of the better Whale Bullas that I have ever found. Also a few Horse teeth and this oddity with a broken occlusal surface that originally I thought might be bear or tapir and now I realize that I just do not know. So here are some photos. Let me know what you think. Size 32.5x18.5x14 (mm). Harry Pristis
This reminds me of a canid upper molar. These have distinct triple roots, and I can't make out a triple root on your find. http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest

Harry Pristis
The new images help. Reminds me of a tapir lower, but that's a low-confidence guess. http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
