Looking for a dust collector

Hi Fellow Forum members. I have been using a home made dust collection system and think it is time to upgrade. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have seen some woodshop dust collectors that will filter down to 0.3 microns but I am not sure if that is good enough. I am looking for feedback from anyone with experience with dust collectors.

Thanks,

Andy

I use a woodshop dust collector with the optional .5 micron bags.  I do a lot of air abrasive work and it works wonderfully.

Thanks. I wasn't sure how a woodshop dust collector would work. I will look into them.

400 bucks or so plus another 50 for the finer bag.  I have had it for years and love it.  Not too noisy, but I still place mine in a closet for noise control.
