Aladdin
I found this whilst fossil hunting on the beach in Redcar UK. The unusual pattern on one side made me suspect that this could be a fossil of some kind but any help to identify it would be appreciated. Miocene_Mason
Looks to me like an old horn coral but don't take my word for it. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
TqB
I'm fairly sure it's a Pinna (bivalve). I collect around there and they are common at some horizons. 1 Tarquin
