Murman Posted May 21, 2017 Share Posted May 21, 2017 I just spent a week at North Topsail Beach in North Carolina and had never found a single shark's tooth in my life before this trip. My daughter's boyfriend found a tooth and showed me what to look for. I ended up finding about 100 teeth before the week was out. Anyway, among my finds were several large shark's teeth and one that looks to be a molar of some sorts. I'm hoping you guys can help identify these for me. Here are pics of the molar... This was my first trip to Topsail Island and had no idea that this particular area was a hot spot for fossils until I started finding them.
