Nice early nautiloid! Can you give any stratigraphic info (age), or narrow down a location for us, so that we can figure it out for you?

Whereabouts in Northern Ontario did you find this? That could help us pin down a geological formation and age.

It was found in the Severn Bridge/Orillia Ontario Canada area -( so maybe not actually northern Ontario more just northern compared to where I live lol).  My boyfriend found and brought home a much bigger one that is fully intact!  it seems like these things are really common at the quarry he works at
