Sulfur River, TX find - Mosasaur fossil?

Hello! I found this fossil probably 20 years ago in the Sulfur River near Ladonia, TX. I was told at the time that it is Cretaceous in age and likely from a Mosasaur. Is this a Mosasaur fossil? And if so, what body part of the Mosasaur is it from? It looks like a joint to me. It is about 6" wide, about 4.5" tall, and is convex on the "bottom".

Welcome to TFF!

Looks like a mosasaur vertebrae to Me, but I am not familiar with the location. others will be along with better information.

Welcome to The Fossil Forum!

The North Sulphur River is rich in mosasaur fossils and that definitely looks like what you've got.
