Cow shark tooth?

indominus rex

Recommended Posts

I received a mosasaur jaw in matrix and I found something is the side which I think is a cow shark(Hexanchus) because of the formation but it is broken in half, it is from Morocco.image.thumb.jpeg.0c93aa11377de5b5b93c5f0c4cde069f.jpeg

It could be but it's hard to see the tooth,  It could also be the side cusps of a larger shark.  Can you post a picture of the tooth by itself.

I don't believe it's a Hexanchus but side cusps possibly Cretalamna.

Would tend to agree, possibly Cretalamna appendiculata a var moroccana??

Thanks for the information, I just want to confirm its identity because it is quite interesting to find it so close to the mosasaur jaws
