Tooth ID help

Found this when i was a kid bit have never knownwhat kind of tooth it was. Can anyone help ID it?

I believe i found it by the Colorado river between California and Arizona.

Welcome to the forum.  Sorry I don't see a tooth in your specimen it looks geologic.   Tooth crowns are typically covered in enamel which is lacking here.

I think it's just a concretion that has been eroded out of a cliff, but some of the matrix is still connected with it (the darker part).
