Gargoyleosaurus parkpinorum pes ungual

Nice Polacanthid Ankylosaur ungual that was found 7/1/2002 at the Simon Quarry. Several known elements of Gargoyleosaurus have come out of that quarry, including a beautiful sacrum that was described by Carpenter and Simon.

So every time I've seen Edmontosaurus teeth being sold, it's been just the crown? I have never seen one with roots. I always thought that was all there was to the tooth. Interesting, thank you for showing.

Henry

That battery is cool.  Hard enough to get a single or a double but a three pack nice, you don't see very many.  The Gargoyleosaurus ungual is super never seen one, very very cool.  I doubt there are very many around. Great pickups,  congrat.

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

  • 2 weeks later...

So I got this tooth yesterday. From the Kem Kem Beds.

If this isn’t a Kem Kem Dromaeosaur tooth, than I don’t know what is...

Solid lingual twist wits and everything!

Nice, I hope we see a paper that describes this morphology sooner than later.   If its anything other than a Dromaeosaurid I give up.  Its classic.
