I am really a novice dinosaur fossil collector so I have to ask, how do you get such beautiful and rare teeth?! (or is that against the rules? :ammonite01:) are they self collected or from a action website or something?

I am really in love with the Brachiosaurus teeth, my favorite dinosaur!! First time I see it in someone's private collection.

Kind regards,

JK

Thank you. These were purchased by me around two decades ago. The Morrison Formation material usually directly from the digger. I had sold off most all of my collection several years ago. Regretted it and have been slowly rebuilding it. I've been fortunate that I sold off most of my original collection to a good friend that is now letting me buy back some of my old pieces. That was the original agreement that I had put in place. So I'm very fortunate.

I also buy from dealers. I do restoration work on the side and have at times been paid with fossils for the work.

I've also collected my own dinosaur fossils as well.

I just found this posterior Tyrannosaurus rex tooth on June 22, 2017 on a Lance Creek dig near Newcastle, Wyoming.

It appears to be the very last tooth position in the rear of the dentary.

You certainly have some cool fossils and also a good friend who keeps a promise several years later.

What a pretty and rare tooth. I like how it's photographed.

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

I recently acquired three Morrison Formation dinosaur claws.

Juvenile Allosaurus foot claw, Dryosaurus foot claw, and Othnielosaurus foot claw.

The juvenile Allosaurus fragilis claw is a reacquisition. I originally owned it and had parted with it in 2003.

So is the Othnielosaurus consors foot claw. I was the original owner and parted with it in 2004. Very happy to have both back in my collection again.
