Hello,

Can somebody help me ID this pterosaur tooth? The seller says it was found in the Kem Kem basin in Morocco. The tooth is about 1 1/2 inches long.

There is only one Pterosaur with such a teeth described from Kem Kem beds - Siroccopteryx(althought it is classified by some authors as a species belonging to the genus Coloborhynchus).

Yeah he's right, there is little doubt that's what it is.

The preservation looks like the Kem Kem.  I take a very conservative approach with trying to label pterosaur material from this region to a genus/species level since so little is understood and agreed upon.

It's a pretty poor specimen and tons nicer ones are available online at very reasonable prices.
