darrow
I picked it up on this morning from Galveston Bay dredge spoils. Late Pleistocene. This piece kinda has the "feel" of ivory and appears to have a thin layer of enamel but It's unlike any other tooth or tusk I've found. I thought it might be a canine but the cross section isn't a bit flattened. Not at all round like other canine teeth I've looked at. Any ideas? Neopaleo
It looks more like claw to me, because the ridge on inner curvature and bone material on surface layer.
NWGeoFan
I agree with @Neopaleo looks clawlike "I am going to dig up dinosaurs whether they are liquid or solid"

Troodon
Sorry cannot add much to the discussion. Does not look like a tooth but a very worn bone. Would a Pleistocene claw have all those irregular surfaces?
darrow
I think it may be a peccary lower canine. Darrow

sloth
It may be the tusk from a juvenile walrus. Here is one I found in North Carolina, it was originally black but after some light polishing the striations in the ivory really popped.
