HappyCamper
Hoping someone can tell me what I'm looking at ..if anything. Found during a hiking trip 3 miles south of Globe Arizona near the base of Signal Mtn. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
NWGeoFan
All I see is good old Granite/Gneiss "I am going to dig up dinosaurs whether they are liquid or solid"
Darktooth
This looks like some sort of geological formation with mineral crystallization. Maybe calcite or quartz. Hard to tell in the pic. Could also be feldspar. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

ynot
It is a metamorphic gneiss with some quartz on the side. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Miocene_Mason
Another vote for gneiss and quartz. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
