Every one of these fossils are truly exceptional. Great job everyone. The Dipleura that @Darktooth found is really neat and what makes a good fossil is the story behind it. It is to my understanding that he worked very hard to locate the trilobite and his story reminded me of the first meg (last year) and complete Ecphora I found just a few days ago. I'm green with envy at his excellent find and preparation. :envy:

A fossils worth such as those here and in the VFOTM entries is priceless when it takes countless hours of searching to locate it and then more hours of preparation. I was talking to @DevonianDigger tonight through IM and he said the Bellacarwrightia I found caught the eye of Gerry Kloc who classified over a dozen new trilobite genus in New York and is a coauthor of Trilobites of New York. It's always really neat to see how TFF plays into the scientific community. I know for a fact that our new Collections archive is viewed by members of the scientific community throughout the world and have recently realized just how important it is to record fossils there with attention to accuracy. I really hope you all take the time to submit your fossils under Collections if you haven't done so already.
