Fun Finding
I found this jaw bone in the chalk of Kansas and I have no idea what it came from .i am pretty Shure it's a fish as I only really find fish bones out where I hunt. Let me know what you think. It is hard to see but there are about 8 tooth studs in the bone.
Rockwood
I can't say it with confidence, but it seems reasonable to guess that this is where the Enchodus teeth came from.
Xiphactinus
Looks most likely to be Pachyrhizodus. They had evenly spaced, short, sharp teeth. Hard to know for sure since the teeth are gone.
