Max-fossils
Yup, does indeed look like bone. You can recognize the typical porous structure in the 2nd picture. Most probably mammal. Reminds me a lot of the fossil bones I find on the Zandmotor: Max Derème "I feel an echo of the lightning each time I find a fossil. Max-fossils
With this closeup you can see the porous structure: Here is another bone that shows well the porous bone structure: One thing though: where did you find it, and how old are the fossils you find there? You always need to include where you found the thing when posting in the Fossil ID thread Also, you might wanna try to put it on fire, to see whether it is fossilized or not. If it burns, it's just modern bone; if it doesn't, then it's probably fossil bone. Best regards, Max 1 Max Derème "I feel an echo of the lightning each time I find a fossil.
