JohnBrewer Posted June 9, 2017 Share Posted June 9, 2017 Welcome to the forum are you sure what what you have seen has been lacquered? Mossy teeth are generally shiny, we'll all mine are. I can't see any reason to add lacquer unless it's to stabilise the root. If that what you mean? If so for jewellery purposes I guess you could use a resin or superglue which are waterproof or use a product that palaeontologists use like Paraloid or Butvar.
