Haha that's awesome!  And kinda what it felt like.. :)  Oddly enough, I found the half a meg and the big GW about half an inch from each other so it soothed the pain..

Im not certain, but I think your "half a meg" is actually half of a big mako tooth from Carcharodon hastalis. Thats a beautiful little great white, by the way!

I think your broken tooth is mako as well, beautiful GWs too!

I agree, C. hastalis; formerly Isurus hastalis. The small colorful great white is gorgeous.

Interesting. The "half a meg" does have tiny serrations. I know they're hard to see in the pic. Does that make a difference?  

 

Also, I was wondering about the light colored gw tooth. Is it that color because of the matrix it's been sitting in, because it's not super old, or maybe a combination of both?  Thanks guys!  :popcorn:
