Miocene_Mason
Nice find, now I can finally use this emoticon: “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
endorph1n
Haha that's awesome! And kinda what it felt like.. Oddly enough, I found the half a meg and the big GW about half an inch from each other so it soothed the pain..
Sharks of SC
Im not certain, but I think your "half a meg" is actually half of a big mako tooth from Carcharodon hastalis. Thats a beautiful little great white, by the way!
jcbshark
I think your broken tooth is mako as well, beautiful GWs too! Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!

endorph1n
Interesting. The "half a meg" does have tiny serrations. I know they're hard to see in the pic. Does that make a difference? Also, I was wondering about the light colored gw tooth. Is it that color because of the matrix it's been sitting in, because it's not super old, or maybe a combination of both? Thanks guys!
