Quick walk in my local creek

Took an hour for a walk in a creek not far from where I live. We have had rains earlier this week so thought I would take a look at what washed out. This creek does not produce a ton but always gives up something if you look hard enough. Found a jaw section, possibly small mosasaur and a partial turtle scute. Wish I had more time to get out there but very pleased to have found this.

Nice finds- wish I had a creek to walk in- the only thing I have is the Chicago River and the only things that can be found there are Super Rats that stand in their hind legs and want to box. Lol.

Thank you. Only second mosasaur jaw piece I have found. I found a small mosasaur vert in the same area last year as well as several bone frags.
