Mammoth Tusk?

Hi all found this,Mazon creek area,been looking on net, closest thing I have found is 

looks a lot like a pice of broken tusk petrified.what do you think?

A curious piece. I don't know if this would be tusk... One generally sees more crack texture in the dentine, and a slightly thicker transition ring. If it is a tusk, it is missing its cementum. Perhaps compare with this cross-section:

Sorry Allen, I have to agree - not a tusk, ...as I see no evidence of Shreger lines.   :)

Actually, they are quite visible.
