Welcome to the forum.

 

You may wish to retake the photo in brighter light and provide something to indicate scale (such as a ruler). This will help us see the diagnostic details better. ;) 

 

Judging from what I'm seeing here, it doesn't appear to have fossilized egg texture. It may be geologic, and not a fossil. Wait for others to chime in.

Unfortunately, it is not likely to be an egg. :( 

 

I see no egg texture to the shell - and the shell or rind is way too thick to be an egg. 

Looks like it's probably a sandstone or chert concretion.  Cool, though. :)

I agree with the others, it's a concretion. It has a resemblance with the specimen below which is considered to be a calcareous concretion.
