juliakk
Hi, I just came from holiday from England and I bought this fossil in Wales while I was there. I have seen that there are many different fossils of this kind, and I'm not sure of which kind mine is. Could you help me identify it? Thanks allot, Julia kk (P.s. I haven't been on this site before so I'm not so sure if I'm doing this right...)
FossilDAWG
It is a trilobite, Flexicalymene ouzregui Destombes 1966, from the Ordovician of Morocco. These trilobites are exported in large numbers and sold in rock shops around the world. Don

fifbrindacier
I agree it's a flexicalymene and if @FossilDAWG says ouzregui, it's because it's one. Neat bought. 1 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry) "We only well see with the heart, the essential is invisible for the eyes." abyssunder
The problem with these trilobite casts is that, that Moroccans usually are trying to assemble a whole trilobite with parts of different specimens to make, for example, a Flexicalymene. Be aware of this kind of "art". link link 1 " We are not separate and independent entities, but like links in a chain, and we could not by any means be what we are without those who went before us and showed us the way.
