SOS
I have just spent the last 30 mins chipping away at this nodule. I wasn't actually sure if there was something inside, so the first sign of it was very exciting. When i finally split the rock in half it was very satisfying. fossilized6s
Right on! Love those ammos. In folklore these ammonites were often referred to as 'snake stones'. Here's a neat read if you're interested. https://depositsmag.com/2016/09/27/fossil-folklore-ammonites/ 1 ~Charlie~ "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why.....i dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" ~RFK ->Get your Mosasaur print ->How to spot a fake Trilobite ->How to identify a CONCRETION from a DINOSAUR EGG

Ptychodus04
Beware the road that leads to fossil preparation! 'You step into the Road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to.' 36 years later, I well remember my very first fossil and the excitement its discovery brought. 1 Regards, Kris Global Paleo Services, LLC https://globalpaleoservices.com http://instagram.com/globalpaleoservices http://instagram.com/kris.howe
