Excellent video Dan! How long is the first tooth in the video?

A bit less than 1.5 inches I believe.

Thanks.

Nice finds. Well displayed. I especially like the large perfect crow shark tooth and the brachiopod.

Also be sure to walk a bit downstream where people mostly aren't.

Thanks for the info.  Another question is what size screen were you using to sift?  Going to try and make a sifter but my girlfriend suggests just to buy one.  Is see they make ones with 1/2", 1/4" and so on.  The wire I plan on making mine with is close to what yours looks like in your video

Seems like you had a lot of luck with the Odontaspis.

I do have a 1/4" wire.

You can either make or buy one both are fine.

Nice finds and video!  As far as screens go I have found that the finer the mesh the more you will find.  Down here in south jersey I use a 1/4" screen and a #20 sieve.

the larger material comes off the 1/4" screen and the coolest fossils (to me) are found on the #20.  I have found many micro vertebrae, teeth, and invertebrates this way.  Good luck

It's hard to remember why you drained the swamp when your surrounded by alligators.
