An orthocerid and two ammonoids, cut and polished.

Per the Forum Rules and Community Standards, we don't do valuations of fossils here.
Check auction sites for similar fossils.

Personally - the fossils are real, but they have been cobbled together to look like they were found that way.

Common practice for Moroccan fossils.

These are very common fossils in a typical display presentation, but they are beautiful and would make a nice decor statement. If the price is low and you like them, why not?

Treat these as you would a piece of art reproduction. If you like it and it has a place in what you want to display then go for it. The price on these is generally reasonable.

Thanks, everyone. I let them go. It was at auction and the other bidder obviously wanted them more than I did. At least I got a bit more education in the process.

Don't worry, these are relatively common.

Do you do online shopping?

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

These types of fossils are all over ebay... you would have no trouble finding one even more attractive.
