Coelophysis pt. 2 thoughts?

 The teeth are extremely small. Hard to see it clearly, but just wanted to know some general thoughts. I'm more worried about the authenticity factor. Also I'm assuming that this is a juvenille. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

I'm no good at distinguishing these fossil teeth from New Mexico, but I will say that it looks authentic!

My comments here are identical to the ones I made your post of June 23.   I also caution you use supplier literature to identify teeth just based on appearance.  Serration density is also a key characteristics that needs to be considered with all theropods teeth especially Coelophysis.  The supplier image you show does not compare well to the one in the technical paper shown below it's not as recurved and the serrations are not very fine.   Coelophysis teeth have very fine serrations with 8 to 9 per millimeter the distal edge and are recurved.  I don't think you can make any determination just based on those photos.

Would you recommend that I take these teeth over to a professional in person? Or, where would you reccomend to go/ what to do in my situation?

While you're not allowed to post dealer info I do know this dealer and he is a specialist and very experienced with micro stuff in particular and sources carefully. I'm sure if the teeth aren't as they are described he will refund or exchange.

A person trying to ID these teeth needs to be very familiar with Triassic dinosaurs.  The paleontologist who wrote the paper I referenced in my prior post has passed away but you can try emailing Spencer Lucas also of NMNH and see if he responds.  He will need very closeup pictures of the teeth, serration count, length and locality where they were found.

I also know Keith and actually collected with him in South Dakota.  He collected a lot of ant hills found a few Troodon teeth that way.  Nice guy and honest.
