mediterranic
Are Calymene (those putative specimens from the pictures, existing by thousands at quarry's), a described genera to Morocco or in fact what we got are Flexicalymene. And what species are they? Thanks in advance for your help. Miguel My Academia.edu profile - My About Me page

mediterranic
Thanks a lot @Pumpkinhead. That's what I though. They are all Flexycalimene. Sometimes I forget to begin searching for the TFF itself. It's so huge. Miguel My Academia.edu profile - My About Me page

And what species are they? The older literature reported 5 species of 'Calymene' from the Lower Devonian of Morocco, but those have all been reassigned to Gravicalymene. Flexicalymene is the most common calymenid from the Ordovician of Morocco, but there are others. This one you posted is: Colpocoryphe grandis The smooth pygidial flanks are the key feature for Colpocoryphe.
mediterranic
There are two specimens, there. I think they correspond to Colpocoryphe grandis. Thanks a lot @piranha My Academia.edu profile - My About Me page
