Slow Day For Fossils But Good Day For Artifacts

Explored another new North Texas creek. Not many fossils but great for artifacts. We did manage to find one beat up Mosasaur vert, shark teeth and a Gastropod. 10 hour hike. :/

It's addictive lol. Now I try to hunt spots that have fossils and artifacts.

Nice. Great good fun that! Do you find most all of your points on the bars, or do you hunt the surrounding bank as well?

Very nice point day Jarrod.  The bottom half that's in your hand with the other three, that's some beautiful material right there.

You did good

What age @JarrodB would you say the arrow head's are.

Thanks. Most are Archaic 2000, 4000 yrs old. This site does produce Paleo sometimes.

That's amazing, and Paleo artifacts as well. Thank you for sharing.

When I was a kid growing up in Ocala Fl. we had a field right across the street that must of been an indian camp. Arrowheads and other artifacts and pottery shards galore. I have dug a ton of fossils from the peace river here in Arcadia Fl, but not the first artifact!

Nice finds! Takes me back to Ocala!
