Carboniferous dragonfly?

Hey all,

I came across this thing and wanted Your opinions on whether it is a fake or real fossil.

The second one looks fishy to me. However, I can see from a Google Search of fossil Dragonfly images, that the thorax isn't always easy to make out. 

I would say that it is a modified cast, to give the impression of there being a head there.

Ok I figured it out, look at the two pictures above. The piece your are trying to buy is an exact negative of the original.

It does look like that - in which case, one of the photos must be reversed. But it could also be a figure/ground effect, with the light coming from the bottom in the first photo. I can force my brain to see it that way with a bit of effort. :blink:
