Hi all,

 

I need help identifying this shark tooth.  I am new to shark tooth hunting, and was wondering if anybody could lend a hand.  The tooth was found on Topsail Island.  Let me know if anymore information is needed.

Welcome to the Forum. :)

 

Are there any serrations, evident?

 

It looks like a fraglodon :P - (fragment of a  Megalodon,) , to me. 

Wait for some more opinions, though.

It does look like there are serrations on the one side.  Here is a picture of the back of the tooth that looks like visible serrations.

Good picture.

I would stick with Megalodon chunk. :)
