non-remanié
Here's a nice specimen of the lobster Hoplolaria gabbi from the late Cretaceous of New Jersey. When found it was almost completely obscured by rather tough concretionary matrix, but I knew it may be quite complete underneath, so I brought it to Ralph Johnson who kindly prepped it for me. With his great experience, he of course did a wonderful job. ---Wie Wasser schleift den Stein, wir steigen und fallen---

non-remanié
Thanks everyone. Ralph deserves most of the credit, but he also got another Hoploparia for the museum as well. (; It surprisingly turned out nearly as nice as this one. He worked even greater magic on it. The cephalothorax had exploded into dozens of fragments before I found it. I really didn't think I was able to recover all the pieces, but it turns out I did. I should have taken a picture of it as well. Next time! ---Wie Wasser schleift den Stein, wir steigen und fallen---
