I really have a soft spot for the smaller ammonites, though. I have to ask, .. Do you use the Estwing exclusively, to remove the ammonites, or do you also employ other tools? Thanks for this wonderful informative post. Thanks, Tim. The Estwing is the one I use the most, but I also use a flat and a pointed chisel, a club hammer and a crowbar if necessary.
