Jekyll Island trips before Summerville

Next week I'm headed for Summerville to hunt for megs, and this week at Jekyll I'm getting a small taste of the toothy joy that is hunting at Summerville!

 

This is the first of possibly multiple trips to the shark tooth beach here on Jekyll Island. Got some pretty nice things, too!

I think my favourite from what I got here is this nice Galeocerdo;

 

 

 

Also landed my first (presumably) fish vert. I've never seen one here at Jekyll, so this is a nice surprise (although I can't get a very good pic of it );

This tooth is Galeocerdo, a tiger shark.
