Hi all, Singapore Fossils Collectors just had our mid year gathering at my place! As per usual, there were new fossils, there was trade, there was food, and best of all, there were so many new faces!

First up, an overview of the fossils in my room

This is my temporary display. Real fossils will start filling shelf out shortly. Of note are the Fossil Finder books on the left and right; I authored them :)

The Plesiosaur jaw is my living room centerpiece. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of it on the table! Here's a pic taken from earlier.

Trading is a staple activity of our fossil meet-ups. This year was no exception; there were some amazing deals going on around, and a 1.5k ammonite changed hands here.

And now, the most important post of all - Here are the amazing people that made this meet-up possible

All in all, we had an awesome time. I am already looking forward to the next meet-up. If any of you pass by Singapore, don't hesitate to ring us up! See you next year!

Incredible display!

It looks as though you were an exceptional host. :) I see a lot of young faces in that crowd, which is quite heartening.

Mouth watering collection (particularly those big megs and that lobster, baby! So jelly! :envy:

Every single fossil you see is a miracle set in stone, and should be treated as such.

Superb fossil displays there, really enhances the specimens on show. I'm hoping to start assembling a display area for my (gradually) growing dinosaur collection next year and that has helped provide some inspiration, thanks Andy! :dinothumb:

Thanks Kane. I agree! Really helps when fellow collectors bring their friends over.

Well, there aren't any fossils you could dig up in Singapore. Still, my country's a pretty good place to live if you can withstand the humidity and heat. We got many collectors and fossil enthusiasts here.

Andy, i knew you were in Singapore. I told you about your home. Fossils take all the place. I asked me if you had enough place to live

Great collection

Haha, I read that in a literal way!

Don't worry, there's just one corner of my room; there's still plenty of space for me. (and plenty of space for more fossils!)

Good as ever.

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!

An outstanding, eclectic assemblage, wonderfully displayed. Once again, I have enjoyed the account of your gathering of fossil minded folk. I know it must have been a wonderful event.
