I went on my very first fossil hunt today in northern Mississippi. I was excited to find fossils, but I am having trouble identifying the following 4. Thank you in advance, I cannot wait to learn more about this wonderful hobby.

I agree that 2 is an internal cast of gasteropod and 4 a shark tooth.

I'm not sure about 1 and 3. Could you send us photos of their other side ?

Looks more like that than what I said to start with.

just want to add, the ones on google images aren't what I'm thinking. our's have very small spines, they look more like the specimen in question

In all fairness it does look like an echinoderm fragment. Here is one of mine from TN

Thank you all so much for helping me, I have one more item from that day, I'm not sure if it is fossil or modern, I found probably 20 of them, but this was the most complete. It is around 1.5" in diameter. Same location.

The complete shell you posted looks like Pycnodonte and the two layered fragements you initially posted are almost certainly Exogyra.
