Giant beaver tooth in NJ brook?

Hi everyone,

I am new to this great forum, and am seeking advice on 2 beaver (?) teeth I have found during my trips to Ramanessin over the past year.  From the size of the larger tooth, it appears to be from a giant beaver- is this an example of Castoroides ohioensis from the Pleistocene epoch?

Is it possible to tell if the smaller tooth is modern (based on size), or potentially from the Pleistocene (perhaps a juvenile)?

Regardless, these teeth are so cool!  Thank you for your help!

Your photos will not open.  Can you post them directly to the forum?  Posting them as jpg files should reduce the file size which might help.

Thank you all so much for your warm welcome, help, and comments!  I am very excited about these finds and hope to share and contribute more to the forum!  @doushantuo wow, thank you for the publication, I'm going to use it tonight to get a better idea of the Castor tooth's age!
