jcbshark
I didn't find this would certainly like to. It was found in Venice Florida at a land site where most finds were marine. I can only imagine it's a ground sloth but have never seen one so small. Thank you in advance Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there! PFOOLEY
A juvenile sloth would be my guess. 2 "I am glad I shall never be young without wild country to be young in. Harry Pristis
I agree that it's a small sloth claw core. I can't say whether it's a juvenile sloth or a lateral claw from a small sloth like Nothrotheriops. Either way, nice find! 3 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
