Sfutura
Hello all! I am new to fossil hunting and having a blast. We live in a area rich in Miocene fossils. I found this recently along one of our beaches. My first instinct was "it's a rock. Keep moving" but I couldn't leave it alone. LOL! Any thoughts? Pemphix
I vote for water-worn rock - cannot see any fossil here, sorry.. Best regards, Pemphix
Fossildude19
Not bone - no bone texture present. Water worn chert, I think. If there is any question, it's always better to bring something home, and find out it is nothing, than to find out you missed out on an incredibly rare or nice fossil. Keep looking.
