Made a Megalodon tooth mini display case

Recommended Posts

I just put together a new Megalodon tooth mini display case...

The tooth is 5.3 inches from Carolina.

I put smaller damaged teeth around the bottom.

I got the shadow box from Hobby Lobby.  It is an unusual shadowbox because it has glass all around the sides.

I got the image background from the American Museum of Natural History.

I plan to make at least one other similar display case for other fossils, with different picture backgrounds.

I love it - what a great idea. The black and white old photo really gives it charm. Can't wait to see the next.

Love the look of this, this could be fun to do with some random small shark teeth too from Florida!

Excellent. Makes a great display. And, as Kosmoceras said, the b&w picture takes it over the top.

Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt
behind the trailer, my desert
Them red clay piles are heaven on earth
I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt

Very cool.  Wonderful way to display some sharks teeth.   I might have to do one of these now?

The shadowbox I used is at Hobby Lobby and is called the "See All Style Shadow Box".... you could fit any 11x14 image at the back.  I paid $20 for it (on sale).
