Rockin' Ric
Crazy is, crazy does when it comes to fossil hunting on a hot day! Went fossil hunting last Tuesday after work with the temp pushing 92 degrees with a real feel of 101 degrees! Gotta love the summer in Bama...not! Oh cold weather can't wait till you get here! Here are a few finds from that hot steamy day. 3 WELCOME TO ALL THE NEW MEMBERS! Miocene_Mason
Again you found some real nice specimens, worth the wade through the heat I'd say! Good job! “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
ynot
Nice additions, like that preservation. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." caldigger
Wowza! Those are spectacular!!! The two part in the second shot is absolutely amazing. Quoting Indiana Jones: "That belongs in a museum!" Thank you for posting. By the way, we are set for 107 degrees here today.

Plantguy
Hey Ric, nice finds! Love seeing the contrast on the matrix. It has been a tad bit warm here as well. I did the same thing...went out anyway. Stay hydrated! Regards, Chris
