Strange fossil, unsure.

Hi guys, please help me identify this fossil, found in a woodland rich in clay near me, will post a pic of the geological composition of the area it was found in, thanks a lot.

Wouldn't the plications have to be divergent and not parallel for a brachiopod?

True, unless it was fairly large and we are only seeing a small piece of it whereby the diverging lines would appear more parallel.
