Hi all,

Here is a tiny piece of bone I found on the Zandmotor (Netherlands) (Pleistocene).

Do you know what part of the skeleton it might have come from, and from what animal? For now I'm thinking mouse...

I can take closeups if needed.

Thanks in advance,

Max

Aside from the question of bone or not, it is too large for a mouse or rat. Maybe something the size of a rabbit?

Not so sure... I have a pet dwarf rabbit, and I'm pretty sure that this bone is very disproportionate. Way too small.

The ruler is in cm, not in inches, this is maybe why you were confused.

the only thing i can realy say about it that it is a piece of bone. but looking at the size, it could be something like a large mouse, a rat or a small rabbit.
